Training
Leaders: There are 4 trainings we must complete:
1. Fast Start
2. This is Scouting
3. Youth Protection Training
4. Leader Specific (stake traning only - not online)
The stake has asked us to complete these trainings ASAP. I was able to complete the 3 online trainings (#'s 1-3 above) in one sitting. I will send an email in the future when we will have the 4th/stake training in person. I know you are all very busy, so I recommend listening to the training online while multi-tasking on the computer doing something else like I did :) The trainings are pretty basic, but they contain important things we need to know as scout leaders.
To complete the online trainings, please login to MyScouting: http://myscouting.scouting.org
(create an account if you don't have one)
Click on the "Training" tab and then "E-Learning" on the left column:
Under Training, complete the 1."Fast Start" training under the "Cub Scout" tab that relates to your position:
Complete the 2."This is Scouting" training under the "General" tab:
Complete the 3."Youth Protection" training under the "General" tab:
(The Youth Protection training has some questions you must answer through out the training, FYI)
YOU ONLY HAVE TO COMPLETE THE TRAININGS THAT HAVE A YELLOW BOX AROUND THEM (and only one of the "Fast Starts" as it relates to your position)
Once you complete any of these, please email me, so I can email the stake that it is completed. Thank you for your help. I will be sending up reminder emails throughout the week, so please take some time to "multi-task" and listen to the trainings :)
